We finally have a brief look at what's to come in "Game of Thrones" season six.

Late Sunday, HBO released a video recap of what the cable network aired in 2015 with a sneak-peek of next year's shows.

"Game of Thrones" was featured several times with a few old shots and a short 3-second clip of new footage among the montage of shows and movies. While there is no audio to go with the new shots of characters, one old scene added in may be significant.

First, check out the clip. The new "Game of Thrones" footage starts around 2:15.

Now, let's break down what you just saw.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for "Game of Thrones."

Early on, we see Jon Snow. Over the clip, we hear Melisandre's voice say, "There's power in you, do you feel it?"

Jon Snow Game of ThronesFor someone who is allegedly "dead," HBO seems to be focusing a lot on Jon Snow in all its season six promos. This set up of Jon and Melisandre in particular hints at a popular fan theory about his survival and/or resurrection. HBO likely included this segment for a reason.

But now, onto the brand new items.

First, we get a look at Daenerys Targaryen. She's a little worse for the wear with unkempt hair and dirt on her face, but her iconic silver dragon necklace is still there and she seems unhurt. Remember, last time we saw Daenerys she was approached by a large group of Dothraki men.

Daenerys Targaryen Game of ThronesNext, is a shot of Ramsay Bolton on horseback. It looks like he's leading the Bolton troops somewhere. Good luck to whoever he's going after in season six.

Finally, there's Cersei Lannister. She's sporting a new short haircut, thanks to the High Sparrow, and hugging her son Tommen. They'll definitely be reunited in season six, but can the Lannisters maintain their power in King's Landing?

"Game of Thrones" seasons six premieres in April 2016.
