Everyone's favorite 'Game of Thrones' potential romance just got more flirtatious

"Game of Thrones" gave fans exactly what they wanted in regard to one of the best non-couples during the season seven premiere of the HBO show Sunday.

While at Winterfell, Brienne is training Podrick, her squire, in the art of sword-fighting. She continuously bests him, but she becomes distracted by Tormund Giantsbane's stares and Podrick lands a hit on her shoulder. This brings Brienne back to her senses, and she knocks Podrick to the ground. 

"You're a lucky man," Tormund says, giving Brienne a look of admiration. 

She looks annoyed and disgusted, then finishes the training session for the afternoon.

The non-existent relationship between Brienne and Tormund became one of the show's best couples — even though they aren't actually a thing — the first moment Tormund looked at Brienne. 

The two of them met back on season six, episode four. Tormund gives her an eye back at Castle Black and then again over a slab of meat during a meal. These looks launched a thousand ships — a term meaning fans hope that the relationship would come to fruition.

This recent interaction led to the same reaction. 

 Brienne doesn't seem at all interested in Tormund, but fans are waiting and wishing for these two to get together.
